Myrtle Lucre􀆟a Williams, formerly Myrtle Stroude & Myrtle La Touche, originally from Grenville Street, St. George’s, a former nursing assistant at the Richmond Hill Sanitorium and the home for the poor, passed away on Monday the 30th of December, 2024, at the age of 96.

Devoted mother of her two surviving sons: Whitaker La Touche and Reginald La Touche, She is survived by her close siblings: Yvonne Beggs & George Simon, who both reside in the USA; & Ronald Clarke of Cherry Hill, St. George, Grenada, Loving grandmother of: Wayne & Donna Stroude; Kimani La Touche, Kitwana Abraham, Ke􀆟sha Peters, Khan, Chanice & Kriss La Touche; Aswad & Asim Smith, Asha Andrews, Kelisha Joseph, Tenkie & Nazim Brathwaite; Jodie Ijoma & Jordan La Touche.

Loving aunt of: Nyall Beggs; Victor Mc Leod; Joanne & Lisa Simon; Joey Clarke; Andy Nimrod, great-grandmother and Great- Great grandmother of many.

Marva Straker, also known as 'Teacher Marva' of Maran, St. John, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at the age of 60.

She was the beloved daughter of: Catherine Gloria Straker and Zepherin Chiddick of Darbeau, St. George, Loving mother of: Lavon Straker Ross who resides in the UK and Tanika Straker Teacher at JW Fletcher Catholic Secondary school,  Cherished grandmother of: Jerdai Ross and Donnica Ross, Mother-in-law of: Daniel Ross.
