Michael Clever Joseph affectionately known as “Jumby”, “Brother Mike”, “16” and “Joe Michael” of Birch Grove, St. Andrew, who resided in the USA, passed away on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at the age of 76
Michael Clever Joseph was born on May 17, 1947 to Catherine Sealey and O’Hanley Joseph in Birch Grove, St. Andrews, Grenada, W.I. Michael’s career started in the Grenada Police Force as a Police Officer and external affairs as a dignitary chauffer.In 1978 he married the love of his life, Merium (Hancock) and they relocated to Brooklyn, New York where he worked as a Roofer for over 30 years. Michael was a humble, God-fearing family man. He was sociable and the life of the party. His presence and big personality brightened every room he was in. His calm spirit and sweet nature made him loved by many.
On Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Michael passed away in the comforting presence of his wife and daughter. Michael leaves behind a rich legacy as a hardworking, generous and loving man.
Michael was the husband of Merium; Father to: Steve, Heron, Caren, Miranda, Surana and Kezzie; Grandfather to: Shaquanna, Dixon, Tamara, Trichelle, Tyra, Ariana, Hannah and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest sibling of 8 Brothers and 5 Sisters and survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
